Tomorrow, 09-Sep-2017, is the day of Photo Marathon which is brought by Canon.
Putting the DSLR camera in storage does not bring it any value until tomorrow, it will be used throughout the day to warm it up with the gang of DSLR fans.
6 years back, no one would be ever predicted that smartphone could be the "replacement" of DSLR camera.
Smartphone brings a lot of camera-liked features, and the price is much more cheaper than the real DSLR camera. Smartphone keeps improving and innovating, and more and more conventional technologies will be replaced sooner or later.
